HPC Optics guarantees all its products against defects in materials and workmanship under our lifetime warranty.
Any damage caused by external causes, including problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by HPC Optics, negligent installation or operation, failure to follow documented procedures, abuse, or general misuse of the product is not covered by the warranty. Custom configured products are non-refundable (such as CWDM, DWDM, Bi-Directional transceiver modules, as well as custom length twinax and active optical cables). HPC Optics makes no express warranties except those stated in this paragraph and in the applicable warranty statements for specific products in effect on the date of invoice.
To request warranty service, you must call HPC Optics at +1 312-879-9845 or e-mail: sales@hpcoptics.com within the warranty period with a description of the problem. If warranty service is required, HPC Optics will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. You must ship the defective product back to HPC Optics in its original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. HPC Optics will ship the repaired or replacement products to you.
